..YAMAHA AEROX YQ100 2004.. All down the right hand side of the bike the indicators dont flash or work even but the left hand side does.. I have checked for loose or broken wires but havnt came across either 2nd problem is the cable from the seat catch keeps slipping out ..does anyone have any tips for this .? 3rd problem im having is i have just had the bike rebuilt and the mechanic says that there is ment to be a plastic cover going from the fan over and around the head and onto the air box this is to keep the bike cool he said but he doesnt know what the part is called and neither do i could someone please point me in the right direction i have a pic of where it goes on my bike if that helps i will upload it when im on the pc later.. Don't know about your electric problems. What you need for the engine is the cowling that goes over it. The fan won't cool it properly without it. Just quickly looked online but can't see any for sale.
see if theres power to the positive terminals where the indicator wires join the main loom, if there is the it could be a poor earth, corroded bulb holders or simply both bulbs could have blown at the same time. Try swapping ONLY the rear indicators WIRES over left for right and then flick the LEFT turn signal. The front left should flash and the REAR right. If that happens you KNOW the rear fitting and bilb is OK. Then swap them back and try the same with swapping over the front. Again if the front RIGHT and rear left flash its then gotta be a problem with the main part of the loom
