Hey guys,presently i have a technigas exhaust on my 183 Typhoon and i must say i'm not too statisfied with its performance.I wannna buy another exhaust but i am stuck between a runner 180 exhaust or a pm59 but i think i read somewhere ,that modifications have to be made for th3 pm59 to fit.Can anybody give me some advice on this please
A pm59 will give you great power so it would be worth it but they are prone to snapping, however they can be replaced. The 59 has a flat power curve but it gives you 3bhp over the standard exhaust ( bhp isn't everything ). Also bear in mind that they are very pricey, however its worth the money. What do you mean by a runner 180 exhaust? Do you mean the standard one? If so, this would performe better than your current technigas exhaust, these are also very cheap to get hold of compared to the pm59 and is still a good exhaust to use. The pm59 has to be modded like you said, but all it is, is a bit of grinding the frame down and it will slot it, you also may have to use a yack up kit or more spacers on your shock as when you compress the rear shock it can hit the pm. There are many other good pipes out there such as the jolly moto, tdr and others but it will be hard to get hold of, not allot of them will make you pick over a 59 as they are good looking, sound nice, good power, however the only bad point like I said was there prone to snapping, but can be welded.
