Exhaust trouble

    I was riding home one night and my honda psi 125 bogged out i sat for 5 mins started it up again and now my exhaust is making a funny rattling noise when pulling off and at low speed anyone know why ??

    Errr mm rusted through? Exhaust valve gap? Heat shield? Broken baffle?

    Sounds like the exhaust internals/cat have collapsed. Take the pipe off and try

    It wont be a cheap fix will it am i damaging the bike more by still riding it to and from work

    just find a 2nd hand exhaust or look at the shape of yours and find something similar and bodge it on. It needn’t be expensive so don’t worry!

    a blocked exhaust can make your engine run hotter so keep this in mind, keep the oil on max and ride with sympathy . Maybe drill a few holes somewhere to help the gas escape until you can replace it. Ideally I wouldn’t ride it but if you have to, well you have to so just do it.
