exhaust rust proofing ??

i want to know how to stop my pipe from rusting just bought the stage 6 pro and it looks mint ...dont want to paint it as i like the metal glossy look ...

iv put wd 40 on it b4 i warmed it up...and then rode it then put another coat on ....it looks mint it sticks up instaed of horizontal

 

nothing you can really do apart from what you are doing now mate, just clean it and spray with degreaser and wd40 after every use and keep on top of the cleaning it should stay mint

 

You could keep using the WD40 as a cleaner and protector. I used to use it on chrome allspeeds on my 350LC even through winter without probs and the pipes looked mint even a few years later.
Alternative is to spray them with high temp clear laquer but it dulls very slightly initially and sometimes goes cloudy over time (months as opposed to days

 

Callum best way is too carry on as you do warm exhaust up and wipe with wd-40 and keeps in really good condition

just needs setting up aint been able to get air filter n other bits but got em now and then float bowl cracked today and pissed petrol everywere but hopping to get on road tomorrow what air screw setting should i start at?
