I'm looking for a high temperature exhaust paint with posssibly a rust proofing agent, to paint the downtube of the exhaust. has anyone any recommendations from their own experiences.
U-Pol No.8 etch primer and VHT paint, both available from Halfrauds. U-Pol No.8 is the shizzle when working on any metal parts on bikes where you don't want it to come off again, especially on alloy parts. I've sworn by No. 8 for many years and it's never let me down. Sperex exhaust paint is also very good.
Thanks Merlin. got a new exhaust for the AP when I restored it. good thing about 2 strokes is they don't corrode the exhaust from the inside, I just need to protect the downpipe for a little extra longevity. Ive got a halfruad less than a mile from me. might get some air freshener when I'm in lol.
