EXHAUST PACKING

    Just stripped down the silencer on my old exhaust, noticed most of the packing missing, apart from noise suppression, is the packing a restriction or does it help performance?

    better question, as I realize no packing would lose performance, can I re-pack it in a way to aid performance.

    I go down my local motorcycle accesories shop and buy exhaust baffle packing :)
