i bought a 'sports exhaust' from ebay for my yamaha neos (50) and it works great...
but a couple of weeks ago i knocked the bottom of it while riding and the pipe came off the gasket a little.

i wasnt too bothered at the time but yesterday i re-sealed it with exhaust sealer in preparation for upjetting in a couple of days.

BUT this made a big problem, since i sealed it it is MUCH quieter which is good but it seams to have lost power, acceleration is now terrible and top speed has gone down about 7 mph..

    what have i done!?
    help pleaseeeee :p

is it blowing? might have bent the end part of the exhaust that the gasket goes on, this happend to mine i had to bend it back and grind it down so it sat back flush with the exhaust manifold

If it's much quieter I wouldn't of thought it's blowing as you'd know about it. If you used gasket sealant instead of a gasket (Did you?) make sure you haven't put too much on it and it's not all gone up the pipe.
