Hey all, my brothers just bought himself an aerox but needs an exhaust as the standard ones fucked to be blunt..

The choices are - laser x pro, the hebo one with red can (can't remember the name) yasuni R

Which ones going to run better on a standard cylinder as he doesn't want to put a 70 on it, just the exhaust

Or is a stage 6 pro / arrow worth a look? Anyone used an arrow & got feedback off one? I had a stage 6 on mine but iirc it's more of a 70 race pipe than a 50 pipe?

Id say just get a leo vince TT as there quite resonably priced, and as hes going to keep it a 50 it would work resonablly well.

yasuni z, dopler s3r, gianelli reverse, hebo performer, maybe the tt (in that order) are what id use on a 50

Cheers guys, he's being a tight arse and doesn't want to spend more than 80 by the looks so it looks like a TT.

If he's a tight arse why doesnt he just get another 2nd hand standard exhaust. It would save him having to rejet and change rollers and clutch springs

Fair enough, let the tuning addiction commence. His tightness days are over.

Yep exactly, hence I pulled a face & twined him when he asked if a techniwank was any good, & if a TT was good, my reply was along the lines of "don't come asking me how to make it faster in a months time" haha

yeah do, as i plan to have it off him once he's finished with it for a run around :D

anyway, the new pipe is on and looks niceee, however it's running turd due to rollers and stuff ( i told him but did he listen? no.)

anyway, the variator looks restricted to me i'll put some pics up for you guys to see and see what you's think.

draw a line in black permenant marker/tip ex across the pully... re assemble and take it for a spin, go as fast as you can and then check to see if the belt has rubbed the pen off all the way to the top..

it looks like it could just be marking where the bottom of the belt comes to, if you factor the thickness of the belt it looks about right. altho it may not be reacing top ratio. do the above to confirm

good idea i never thought of that, he's at work on it at the minute though, I'll try do that when he gets back, but he's been off all week while I've been at work, then today when I'm off he's at both of his jobs meaning he's only at home for about 20 minutes! ha ha.

If the line only goes up to where it is could it be something to do with a restrictor in the variator?

OR could it be to do with the belt, the guy who had it before him has been wheelying it by the looks of the back end, (where the number plate attaches to) it's all scraped at an angle, so I'm thinking the belts been stretched? As when i took it down the road yesterday after removing the restrictions in the exhaust it flew, however coming back up it struggled and i don't think it even hit 20mph.

refer to the manual as to what parts should be in there.. could be missing a spacer somewhere

I've got a Doppler S3R Exhaust on my Aerox and it does give the bike a huge difference in acceleration and top speed. But I haven't got round to Re-Jetting it yet because of a other problems around my days and everything being busy.

The S3R is worth the buy. It sounds great and performs great. But just remember you've got to Re-Jet to get the best performance out of your bike and the Exhaust.

Jesus Christ, I'm just giving you my opinion on a subject that you're interested in. Isn't that what you asked for? & at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter how many post's you've done, it's just a code on a website.

Calm down bro, I'll let you and your brother go for an Endy; suits you right down to the ground. Oh, and nice banner, it's really erm, pixelated?
