hi tuning gurus I have purchased a performance exhaust for my 50cc Yamaha ca50 and everyone has said it may need up jetting so if I have to up jet I may as well run an open filter e.g. foam pad over carb if so how much would I need to up jet I was thinking about 20 sizes bigger e.g. if mine is 70 jet run a 90 jet although as well as speed increase I want to have a reliable scoot as well because its my only way of getting to college any help appreciated

up jet for the exhaust fogret the air filter idea. will swallow fuel, be slower and sound super loud. their also a pig to jet correctly. just upjet 10% for the exhaust

most 2 strokes seize due to incorrect jetting. what may seem ok may be too hot and too lean. i wouldnt risk it for something as cheap as a new main jet

i upjetted by over 12% and it drove great with little smoke etc. i reckon stock would have lean seized long ago
