Hello all, i bought a Yamaha EW 50cc Slider for very little money, with the idea of tidying it up and selling it on at a profit, It ran fine and pulled 55mph on the speedo so i was quite happy with it (for a bit of fun) Anyway all of a sudden the bike started misfiring when i started it, i didnt use it just left it in the garage now i`ve gone back to the bike it wont start at all, It has a nice blue spark and the plug gets soaking wet in fuel, so i`m stuck, any suggestions on what to check next? It was backfiring at first when i tried to start it, but now it just doesnt make any hint of coming to life... Thanks for any advice
Hi thanks for the reply, I took the carb and reeds off, they were fine so cleaned everything and put back together and still nothing, any idea of what to check next? Thanks again
Yeah there was no gaps at all, held it up to the sun, there was no light! Any ideas of what I should do next? Thanks
