ok so some know my past bike history and ive had quite a few dogs of bikes...
but tonights last minute purchase on scumtree may have been one of my worst yet. turned up, didn't even bother checking it over because its for a project to do over the remainder of winter and to sell on come summer time. signed logbook, grabbed keys, gave the huge sum of £90 and chucked it onto the back of the transit.. strapped it down.. got it back here and upon further inspection the frame is absolutely rotten around the centrestand area... if its ever going to see the road again itll need a new bit either sourcing and welding in or something fabbed up and welded in... engine is seized and the wiring is non existant.... ive bought a ....... shagged c90.. hopefully I can just get the frame welded, quick couple of coats of some hammerite on the frame, source a engine and loom for it and get it sodding sold. should make a few bob in profit but its the worst bike ive got so far.
ever bought a dog of a bike? what was it and how bad was it? can you beat my brothers worst one of having a bike that was literally held together with duct tape, yup the frame was wrapped in the stuff in areas and when removed there were cracks and holes in the frame

Worst - cg125/older model,1990's.paid £50 for it,rode it from Rotherhithe to Walworth road an back,it expired - it's the main reason why i absolutely believe (except for inherent design faults),that just because you get one particular brand and model of bikes,an it turns out to be a complete lemon - does'nt mean they all will be.-
good luck with the 90,not jealous

    I AM LYING.!!!!! :).

Lol its purely something to make a few quid on, bought with business money so has to be sold to make profit.

you can just plonk a pitbike motor in there, im fairly certain the mounts are identical.
    hmmm worst bike.....
had some chinese 125 geared thing that i "bought" off my ex, although i never actually paid and never actually signed the v5. that was a shit box. the carb was machined wrong so the choke valve stuck closed or open depending on the temprature, the bolts holding the motor snapped, all the electics died on it.
ive ridden a whole load of shit bikes, remember we dont have any kind of MOT here for bikes, the worst was a jog, it hhad no tread on the tyres, no air in said treadless tyres, no front brake pads, no rear brake cable, no lights, the front wheel bearings where rumbling, the head bearings where loose, the exhaust had rusted through.... the list goes on.
ive ridden some pretty bad derbis too

1986 in red, brother reckons he can sort me a honda engine for it that needs a service, got a little done on it today. This one needs to be gone for new year or the "accountant" will start moaning.

b....r,moi's manual's only for 50/70/90 to 1982,but pretty sure have all microfiches, there are a few c90club forums(good source of info & especially good sp from owners running them).
Fair sure fitting a pitbike engine's is a relitive p.o.pss,but have a look about on build an the like of that sort,esp.u-tube .as a few do mention issues in relation to fitting all the other bits.;) -
    Fav.c70 vid at the moment:-
    · Honda c70 x YX140 Engine (datanoster),noticed him mention in comments.some issues that probs.will pop up.mk.

Will be staying as original as possible. No pit bike engines. No conversions. Just get it running and riding, motd and sold.
