Doing my CBT soon and then plan on getting a 125CC scooter mainly for commuting

The commute is 25 miles each way, involving 15-20 miles of A-road, mainly 50 limit, some national limit. And a few miles of london traffic.

I had been considering maybe a Vespa GTS 125 Super but now am thinking more along the lines of a Honda PCX 125CC or a Gilera Runner ST 125CC.

If it makes any difference from the point of view of riding comfort etc, I am fairly average weight and 6 foot.

Anyone got any thoughts on what would be better for me, the vespa, the honda or the gilera?
    cheers

I'm going to say Honda, simply because if you get a Gilera Runner, you will want to tune it

thanks for the thoughts guys. Seems the jury are all in favour of a Honda.
Bradley - why would I want to tune a Gilera runner if I got one, but not a Honda? Sorry I am a total newbie to scooters so I don't know.

runners are 2strokes. Everyone tunes them. Unless you're onabout the 4t version. And cool.

cheers, its only 1 year old and got it for a fair price. After a little research I think I know what you're talking about with the 2 stroke v 4 stroke thing.
