Essential crank change?

    Right, is it essential to change your crankshaft when fitting a 70cc cylinder? :confused:cratch:

    just need to know i've heard different answers and want to know if i need to change to a racing crank after fitting a 70 kit.. :banghead:

    It depends on how powerful the kit is you are fitting and how many miles your engine has done.

    I'm running a mid race 11800 rpm kit on my stock crank. It's a reasonably new scoot, so I'm not too worried, but I will be swapping it for a full circle before the month's out.

    Done about 3.5k so far without any drama.
