Hey guys, i recently bought a MBK Nitro 50 / Aerox 50 (2004), and it seems that the last owner has bodged up the electrics and some other parts. It doesnt key start and the front headlight is ALWAYS on. Also the speedo and fuel gauge dont work. It also can take awhile to get it started using the kickstart. The choke on the bike also seems a bit F***D and broke. (maybe why the bike struggles to make it up a little hill??). Is it worth me taking the bike to a garage or could this problem be fixed with a manuel or something? The guy who i bought the bike off told me it goes 60 easy (probly once did) but now it only seems to go around 45 once it gets going. everyone recons there 50 wiht a pipe does 60.... its bollocks. your lights may well be on constantly. ALL new bikes dont have a light switch, you just ride with your lights on all day (should have explained this on your cbt) what do you mean the choke "seems" fucked?
Yeah i got it on ebay few days ago. There is a switch for the light but it doesnt do anything, and the choke doesnt move at all (up or down) it seems as if its not connected to anything Sorry im new to scooters so dont blame me if they seem stupid quetions lol Once i get the money i will take it to a local Dyno and see if i can get better performance from it 2, as it sets of slow for few seconds then all of a sudden it goes.
