I have a yamaha jog 3YJ Japanese import. Now because its quite old and because of the shape of the frame etc there is not a lot I can do (or be arsed doing) modding wise. Ive came across a few of the new shape jogs that have blown engines and so I was wondering if my engine will fit on one of the new shape jog r's? The engine is a minarelli horizontal air-cooled engine, which I belive is what is on Jog r's, but mine is from '91. So will it fit? I cant affors to just buy it and see.
as long as it is the same shape engine yeah, look at the subframe and see if they are any different if it is the subframe will need modding (welding) thats the metal part which allows the engine to be attached to the frame with a pivot
Unfortunatly the jog r's are not anywhere near me so I cant go look. Theres no-one around here who rides one either. Thanks for the advice though!
