Hi guys, anyone know which 125's will fit into the vespa lx 50? i need a bit more power, got a new job and there are some big hills on the way!

would a 2 stroke typhoon engine go in easy enough?

    thanks guys

yep, typhoon engine ffits with a modded 50 mount, wheel bolts on the old shape 125 engine aswell (108mm drum) and the pipe will clear everything. you will need the typhoon wiring loom/cdi/coil also but the only hard bit will be the rear lights and the clocks. want to do one of these myself one day.

not the same fittings for the lights (rears you can just change the plug fitting over from the 50 loom tho as the colours are the same) the clocks/switches can be a bit of a pain but im sure you can figure it with both wiring diagrams

thats the idea... so people dont have a clue.
keep the whole bike the same. i ment that the entire engine/wiring from the typh is the same your just putting different clocks on it, oh and a frame :D but will look good as the typh stock pipe looks like a 50 vespa pipe anyway, wheel the same so you REALLY will supprise people. especially if you 172 the fucker

i will be fitting the 172 kit. at least i can use the scoot as it is whilst im sorting the engine out....

i havnt seen too many a/c engines around, it'd be a pain fitting l/c to the lx
