Hi, having troube with my bike (chinese import) and just want to know if anyone recognises it as a copy of another. Just need to know because i think its the rollers but rather than email someone in china or spend a considerable amount of time taking the old ones out and measuring them or what every (im a complete novice), just see if anyone might know. Thanks Jase
16x13 4.5g on stock motor revs nicely and is far better suited then the start setup, theyre heavier on the rollers for MPG reasons.
oh cool, great. i had a look on the internet and found out its a "152QMI" engine. Found somewhere that sell stock rollers but they dont state size or weight. So ill go for some of them then. thanks Jase
would it be a bit ambitous for a complete novice to try and change the rollers? Ill have the whole day but ive never had a cover of an engine before lol Would i need a specail tools before even trying? Thanks
Yep you need special tools to get the variator off. There are rller changing guides on YouTube, have a look at them to see if you think you can do it. Otherwise, get some help the first time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyb9NyR- ... re=related
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... IMPACT.htm Is that normal for there only to be 2 attachment for the wrench? How am i meant to know if there the right size
theyl b way too big for a variator , variator nuts are usually around 12mm , get one with a bigger choice of scokets
A lot of the impact wrenches im lookin at say for taking car wheel nuts off. About that size would you think? or is it just too hard to say.
car nuts are 17,19 and 21 think mine is something like 19 so yours might be something like. but tbh it should take any 1/2' sockets
I found out that the stock ones that come with this engine is 18mm x 14mm, will 16x13 fit? Plus the 18x14 i can only find weights at 13g and upwards. How would that affect the engine?
