engine numbers

hi all i bought some new typhoon engine case's from ebay last year but theres no numbers
on it , will i be ok with that or do i still have to tell the dvla, cheers

 

you should tell dvla along with a reciept from the company that you bought the cases from and they will send your v5 back with no engine numbers, although this is rarely done and people just ride about without any

 

its illegal at some point having no numbers at your engine.. its like its stolen!

 

It's upto the dvla to give numbers if needed, All new cases do not have numbers as do frames supplied new!
