    Hi,
ride an Aprilia rally 50 ac and recently I fit a new Polini crankshaft. After I finished
the engine is misfiring a lot and tend to die.The funny thing is if I pull the rear brake
the engine is running nearly ok.Did I mess up the flywheel? Anybody has got any ideas.
    Thanks.

does your electric start work, if not i guess your problem is the earth wire (negative lead) to the starter motor, it earhts the engine to the chassis. without it the bike will fire intermittantly.

    Hallo again
    thanks wobbly_trials
I disconnected the starter motor it wasn't working any way.I connect the earth just behind
the cdi box on the chassis instead of on the crankcase.Would it make any difference?
    thanks
    Alexbat.

Yes yes yes! The frame of the scooter and engine need to have continuity, you attached the earth from the engine to the frame, so no continuity.

    Hallo,
and thank you for your most valuable tips (lshigham-wobbly_trials)it was the starter earth that was not connected to the engine. Now my baby is running like A bolt.
    Thanks again
