Okay so I have had this Peugeot Metal X (trekker) for a couple of weeks now and it still isn't starting I don't have a clue why, I have drain the fuel and topped up with fresh premix fuel, cleaned all the carb, changed the spark-plug, all the usual things. I am now wondering if it the engine that is goosed, so I have 3 questions to ask you all:- 1. How would I know it is goosed for sure as don't want to be buying new engine and then it turns out to be something silly (don't really want to take it to professional help as hey are costy) 2. What engine would fit in to mine (e.g. a speed-fighter engine maybe) 3. Which engine is a 50cc because I don't want to buy a 100/125 and so on because i want a 50cc to turn into a 70cc eventually. what carb is it? take the float bowl off, and blow some carb cleaner through the choke circuit, its a common problem on speedfights/vivacitys etc, also, take the plug out and turn the motor over without it in and the throttle closed, this will shove all the excess fuel out.
