Right I am thinking about getting a cheap typoon/NRG or something and putting a 125 engine in it just want to know from people who have done this how hard it is and will a gilera runner 125 engine fit, or has anyone done a step by step guide on doing this ?

Any help will be much appreciated.

basicly a gilera engine will fit into both bikes i would recomend a stalker swingarm for it but ur going to have to file down both sides to get it to fit the engine once the engine is in u work around it like putting on the rad and the wireing loom u will hav to mod the loom by extending it and cutting and adding bits off the typh/nrg loom for the light and stuff if i was u i would do a typhoon 50 with the typhoon 125 engine loom all fits nice and as ur first convert its going to be a bit tricky unless u mechanicly minded lol and the bike wont look as tacky because you dont have to cut the panels up try and get a typhoon 125 engine tht u cant disc convert

    1. a typhoon comes wiht ether a small drum or a big drum engine.. you can do a disk conversion on a big drum as it has caliper mounts
2, you can use an ac barrel on a wc engine.. the wc engine is a modified ac unit. there is no such thing as a gilera engine, its a typhoon engine IN a runner...wiht a wc (hexagon) cylinder...

3, the parts to build up an nrg into a typhoon 125 cost morew than a typhoon 125 would... it seems a cheap/easy option but its not.. then theres legality of it all.. do as said, buy a fuckin typh 125 and just put nrg pans on it if you want an nrg125. FAR cheaper than tunring an nrg into a typh..

oh and just to be sure i made this clear... you DO NOT use a runner loom on a typh/nrg/anything other than a runner.. there a fuckin mess. typhoon 125 loom go's straight into a "gilera" stator plate... again, the engine is a piaggio engine, not a gilera engine. (find me gilera written inn the metal)

as for cutting the mounts "a bit each side" wicked advice.. should be a perfectly straight, stable conversion done wiht the finest of accuracey. yes im takin the piss....if you cant figure out what you need to cut off what side to mount the engine straight (and have the wheels line up) you shouldent be cutting the CHASSIS about to fit the WRONG engine into it... ive done them lots gdont get me wrong, just theres one right way and a million and one bodged up fucked up illegal unregisterd uninsured 50's out there with wc engines half hanging out of them....

    buy a typh 125....
