engine cases

    can you swap and change different engine cases around for the lc 125 2 storkes ie different left and right when they get damaged

    Yes mate. the casting /machining is crap on all of them as to not make a difference for normal use.

    Not sure about that. They are machined together so fitting a different half is seen to be a bit bodge. The gasket faces can be well off.

    hmm ive had alot of mixed replies about this on runner net and facebook shiny says dont i know in my head not too but im in a bit of a pickle need a stator side case asap. then another guy said you shouldent but hes done it 3 times without a problem o what to do finding a set of cases aint easy these days

    as tero said, the faces can be WELL off... i wouldent trust the bearing seats to be matched ether, so your looking at tight cranks..


    there are risks, i wouldent do it myself and advise against it. but people will be people and im sure youve made your mind up about it already and simply want somebody to agre
