Engine back today, carb question

I'm finally getting my engine back today and i was wondering if anyone had a picture that showed what connects to what on the carb, or anything like that?
Any advice welcome.
Is there anything else I should do when fitting?

 

the sr50r 2006's hav lc carbs, how many tubes come off your carb? and then i can help

 

5 excluding that over flow thing right at the bottom.

 

well uv got 2 water hosses which connect to the left side of the card and then a oil feed which attaches to the lil brass nipple on the left side of the carb, on the right hand side uv got the 2 fuel hoses the larger pipe is your fuel line and the thiner hose is your fuel vacum pipe. hope that helps

when im refering to left and right it is asif you are looking inside the carb from the airbox/filter side.

 

take a pic of the carb and we can tell u whats what

ok i can tell you that the bottom pic the far right brass nipple si the oil feed pipe the left brass coloured nipple is coolant and then the dull silver colour nipple looks like fuel vacum and the top pic that is your main fuel line , this is what im thinking but im not 100% sure.

on the bottom pic the far right is oil, the far left is coolant and the one to the right of it is coolant, there should be a nipple by in the inlet and thats the vacuum and the one to the right of the air intake is the fuel line, what happend to ur engine then?

 

variator nut spun of and the variator cut a groove into my crank, so ive had a pm tuning crank fitted and then getting a polini variator kit.

on that note are the rollers the same size as standard piaggio ones? and will I be able to use the weight Ive got in at the moment or will the variator effect that?

 

doesnt matter polini will provide you with rollers for that variator, wot mods uve got decides ur rollers

 

Another question, whats the best way of lining up my engine to my frame to bolt it together? 'cos I am having serious problems trying to line them up.

put the stand up and put the back wheel on while raising ur fram on a box then get a mate to help by sliding the engine up then when uve got it in the right area keep moving it around so that the long bolt will go all the way through, you may need a hammer

 

do the two prong on the frame go out side of the two prongs on the engine? it doesn't seem to fit that way but I'm pretty sure thats the way it came out.

 

Sorted it now.
but when I put the key in the electrics came on once but now they won't come on, could this be just a dead battery because its sat for 6 weeks?

 

Yeah i would guess

Try a friends battery

 

possibly a fuse?

 

If i press the horn i can hear it beep really quietly each time I press it but it doesn't stay on.

None of my mates have got peds .

Except for a couple with brand new peds that wouldn't dare put a sticker on them.
