Just a quick one with end float....

If im pushing laterally on the crank (in and out) to test end float... should i feel it move?

I dont have a dial to measure it so ill try my digital vernias tonight.

Should be ok, cause the crank spins very smoothly.

should feel/see a tiny bit of in/out movment on it... aslong as theres SOME visible movment (even the tinyest bit) its about there... if theres FUCK ALL its best to heat it all up an give it a few taps in ether direction.. if it just wont come strip an start again.. no point running it wiht no end float.. wont last long (snap/bend/bearings die an so on)

in future put the bearings in the case first then get the inner race FUCKIN hot befor you sling it in... should instantly smooth your skin if you touch it when the right temp.. will slip nicely all the way i9jn and give you the best chance at attaining correct endfloat

    yeppers...did that....

inner race was hot... if i licked my finger and put in on the inner race, it sizzled hehe.

    crank slid in easily.

everything turns over very smoothly even with the seals in :)
i can spin the crank over between my thumb and index finger.
