elecy start

    when i turn my ignition on.. and try to elecy start it .. it wont go ??

    the brake light doesnt come on when i pull the lever in.. but when the bike is running from kick starting it.. (if i turn my lights on) the brake light works (when pull the lever it IS brighter)

    what could this be ?

    any help apreciated..

    any1 know where the fuse is on a rox ?

    near the battery, i think its behind it.

    got the little black box off.. and its got nothing in it lol.. jsut says 27v on it.. where else could it be cause i cant see it near the battery :confused:

    erm, where is the battery on the rox? think the fuse is under the centre of the footboards.

    will it be attatched to the wires around the battery area 100% ?

    got it :D.. its blow .. a 7.5 its got on it .. will pick 1 up from the local bike shop tomoz.. also.. i only had 1 brake light switch working before hand.. could it be when the fuse was going but not quite blown??

    no, your fuse will probably have gone because of the switch, get it replaced.

    well.. what happend was.. i washed my bike.. and after that.. the front brake light switch stopped working.. if i got water in the switch.. it wouldnt mess up the intire part of that loom would it cause i only got the brake light switch wet.. so i will only need to replace the switch ?

    yeah, its shorted and the fuse has blown to stop damage, replace the switch and the fuse and it should be fine.

    but i washed the bike a while ago now.. when the brake light switch went.. and the fuse has only jsut gone

    its because a live somwhere is touching earth. chances are its the switch that has moisture in it or is damaged inside, i have had 2 or 3 do this. its a common problem, replace the switch as its a legal requirement and then try the new fuse, if that blows then there is another fault (best buying half a dozen fuses, they do come in handy)
