Basically when I stripped my ped down at the weekend (panels not engine) to replace some parts (Locks and petrol tank) I noticed that a load of earth wires have been cut and been wrapped up in electrical tape. I have gone through about 3-4 fuses since I have had it (Little over a month I think) And now also none of my dials are working. I Know that my speedo didn't work or my tempreature gauge didn't work, but now I have nothing, and my brake light or indicators wont work. My brake light is on when I turn my lights on but it won't illuminate. I recently fitted a kill switch (For the electric start, doesn't affect kick start) due to the area that I live in, and that had nothing to do with it. Me and my dad are stumped for ideas. Could it just be that my battery is flat, but it would create its own electricty when its running?
But those earth wires are looking pretty suspicious....
I might just rip a whole loom off one of the other runners.

right, check/change the starter relay and the rec/reg.. replace the obviously dodgy earth wires an tell me how you have the kill switch wired up.. ive had issues with cdi switches arking and stopping any spark

Cheers minor. I will have another go at it this weekend permitting the weather. Will most probably be Sunday.

no worries... i know the switch ins installed correctly but they can still be a fault.. eliminate the things you know are fine (usually sommin silly that should work fine an you ignor that cause problems like this)
