    Okay i bought a 125cc 4 Stroke Yamaha 1992.

When i went to test ride it, it ran fine but the moment i got it home... BAM it wont work?
it seems to be the common problem im having. I buy a bike and it breaks when i get it home Bad luck for me.

However I think this is the issue the spark going to the plug is poor its demonstrated in this video.
I took the supressor cap off and put the wire on the head cylinder to show you the spark.

The spark is either not there and then it is for a few seconds... The bike tries to start but then fails :(

If you can help or tell me how i can make the spark stay constant or stronger then please do as it would be a great help to me.

    Thankyou!

thats no way to test if theres a decent spark as you're relying for the spark to jump from the lead to the head.

Stick an old spark plug that works into the end of the HT lead and rest the bottom of the plug against the cylinder head. THEN check the plug for a spark.....

BTW, just for testing like this it dont matter what the plug spec is or even if its the right one for the bike as long as its a known good plug

Right, I got a new plug from a dealer Easy peasy. But i managed to kill the battery when i was trying to start it beforehand.. So i got a friend to Jump start it however the Nugget who had the bike before me or a previous owner has Put A red cable on the negative, and a Black cable on the positive. Without knowing i hooked up the second battery and *POP* There goes the fuse... it was a 20 AMP in the bike, does anyone know if this is the right fuse?
I bought another 20amp Fuse but it isnt working No lights or ignition light or anything. So... what else might i of blown by short circuiting it? I thought the fuse was there to stop it blowing the electrics so i hope it hasnt... But the new fuse doesnt seem to be doing the trick. So im now left with a bike with my shiny new plug on... but no electrics to fire it up and it doesnt have a kick. What might i need cause the 5Amp fuse further in the circuit hasnt blown...
