Hi my electric start has stopped working after my belt snapped about 2 months ago. I have been using the kickstart. When i press on the electric start button it just spins around and does not engage. You can hear it turning and it is turning fast but it seems to be spinning on a plate or something? Sorry for the poor description but its the only way i can describe it.
    Cheers

It'll be the sprag clutch. Needs tiny 3 crucial springs and 3 rollers to function. When your belt snapped it probably knocked one out which means it won't bite and turn the motor. If you can disassemble the variator then try find the springs/rollers (needle in a haystack job), patiently/carefully rebuild the sprag clutch up and slide back onto the crank, then reassemble variator.
