but if the bike is a right off, then the v5 is useless, it cannot be used. Frame might be perfect but on v5 if its marked down then there is no point in having it

if its a WRITE off and its cat C then it can be used.
And even though its cat C, bikes don't have to go for a VIC so can be used straight away.

If its cat B (this is the letter b, some dumbass has set it so it changes) then that means its break only and cannot be put back on the road, in this case the V5 is pointless.

But if its cat C or D then it can be put back on road.

I'm not sure if bikes can be cat D but whether it's C or D, it will not need a VIC and can be sold...........

    I think ;)

is it on any insurance lists?

If it is then you need to state. if it isnt but still bent you still need to state, I wouldnt want to buy a frame and be the one to find out its bent?

CAT C needs a VIC check.

Is it a write off or not? Did insurance get involved if and when ? you had an accident or whoever damaged it did?

Thats it then. All yuou had to do is explain that.

Its a cat c. Whoever buys it and wants it on the road need to get it VIC checked. But you can sell it.
