the engine earth is wherever you want it, usually on the starter motor but the runners dont havbe a neg there for some reason, usually just ahead of the tranny cover on the old airboix front mount, there is an earth by the headlight relay or rec at the front under the centre pannel and one at the back, they use 2 diff looms on the runner depending on battery position/fuel tank used...

if in doubt just find a thick black on the loom and earth it to the frame, if the lights still arnt working theres an earth hitting positive somwhere. usually best to just go through every part of the loom (if the pannels are off id personally take the loom oiff, lay it flat then refit from clocks to rear light, cant miss anything then ;)

thanks again minor i really appritiate your help mate, basically i was thiking if i just get 1 wire from the frame to all the earths on the loom will it be okay or do i run a separate wire for each one? because the paint on frame i think stops it from earthing if i am right?

yes mate gtta sand all ya contact points or it wont earth propperly if atall n will run pants aswell. on my rox i put an eart from battery to frame starter to frame and the erth cable that was on loom to frame thats wat wobbly told me to do and it all works fine now so that suggests to me one from all
