Basically i work for an aprilia shop that has a dyno thats runs upto 250 horses! amd its recalibrated every yera to (0.5 to 1) % accuracy because its main use is for rsv mille, r1, gsxr thou's with power commanders etc etc!! I have convinced my boss to get a scooter cradle for the dyno so that i can run mky 70's and my typh 172! i thought that i should post this as the traditional method of setting up bike is long and tedious and i have been doing the plug test for years!! but ye what does the community thionk?? and is anybody interested in dyno runs in north west london nw2? btw its 20 pounds a run and considering that it can save you a lot of money especially those that tune bikes but never readjust the carburation to suit! instead of guessing around with the plug test you can be sure on a dyno!!

dyno's and dyno setup is as good as the guy running/advising.... and once a year is not gonna get you 0.1% accurecy.. needs to be calibrated monthly atleast.

well done tho m8, need more places that dop dyno's without the silly games people play to get more work... (could name a few shops, but im sure you ALL know who im talking about)

only recently a shop lied through there teeth to get one of my engines in there, where it sat now for a couple weeks while they copy/steal the work on it.... dont bother me, ill take a hammer to the engine myself as soon as its on the strip

fair enough minor !!! but im offering dyno runs for £20 and ye setup runs also which will depends on what and how far you want te setup up done! Btw i would never think of niking any of ur work id rather pay you to show me!! but ye my boss has ordered the cradle and ye will be up and running in two weeks ! and when i mean calibrated minor i mean all the diagnostics machines beeing recalibtaed which cost £800 a pop! btw an official dynojet dealer is only required to recalibrate their dyno every 4 years to be a dealer!! ye do every year because the boss races his mille about 10 to 20 times a year and does a lot of port wor and powercommader setup runs on big bikes!! talking of big bike im gettin a honda hornet 600 and fitting a full yoshimura japon racing system and power commander which should pull between 120 and 130 bhp And that reall bhp at the rear wheel!

didnt for a second think you were "trying to steal work" coulkdent care less... im on here as a person not a company/affiliate of a company ;) im all for dyno's anddecent tunning companys being on board the site. the scene is what it is because of friendly people banding together over a large area afterall....

good luck wiht it, get to reading up as opperating a dyno is one thing to learn, seting a carb/rollers up on a dyno is another. im sure it wont take you long to get your head round it, i sudgest you read whatever you can find on carbs and rollers tho, im still to this day (and forever more) learning. nobody knows everything, im the first to admit my own flaws. we alll learn untill the day we die. you just have a dyno to play with in the mean time ;)

good luck wiht it ether way :D may have to pop in for a cup of tea with a couple gilly shaped creations from the area (ay connor/brad)
