what does dyno mean/do ?? :msn1: i figure its that thing you put your bike on and rev and yuor back wheel spins on something recording speed or sommet
the correxct term is dynomomiter (probably not spelt right) it basicly messures turning force in 2 ways, the actual power there is to turn at any given speed and the time it tajkes to reach a certian rpm (this is basicly messured with a motor and a volt guage as if you spin a motor it makes electricity same as an alternator) then a program usuallyt run from a laptop takes this information and givesa you hp figures at a given speed or rpm. (usually terminal speed as autop's stick to max revs most of the time anyway) type "how a dynomomiter works" in google and you will find years of reading
went to two wheels saturday i was considering letting them dyno my bike but the two chumps at the counter made me change my mind and theres only one good person at cbs whitton and my mate asked them to jet his bike so they slaped it on the dyno gave him a reading and charged him 35 squid :msn1:
