DVLA (Dumb,Vain,Little Assholes) question

well basically i bought a bike on 5th of september , filled in logbook n all that and had to tax it when i bought it because it was on sorn , my question is since the laws have changed and when i get the logbook back will i have to tax it again (my understanding is that when you sell a vehicle the registerd owner gets a refund ) but i dont know if its in my name yet or not

 

ive sent an email cba ringing up takes a while for them to get the jist of it because of my accent

 

don't see why you should, aslong as the correct date of purchase was put on the logbook, nout they can really do.
