well i looked threw the dvla hand book and it says if you increase the cc then no evidence is needed so why did they send me my log book back requesting a reciept
i found this site that says the same thing and they only require evidence if the fuel type is changed
    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ow ... DG_4022054
so what should i do ive got my log book back and a letter saying they want evidence ??

well send it back to dvla with the new engine numbers and a written letter and state what it says in their hand book ;)

    unless their rules have changed...

also try to call them up and confirm it

Speedy this is what I thought, thats why I questioned why they would do this?

Call them and have a word. Best thing to do really. last time they held my V5 untill I called and asked why?!
