dt125

    hi i have just brought an old dt125 lc and i put water in the rad and it just leaks threw..
    but it dont leak from the rad it leaks from down were the engine is??
    some one said radweld but i dont know if that would work??

    water pump seals are gone by the sounds of it

    so radweld wont work..
    and were can i get some seals from asap???? and would it still ride even if they have gone..???

    sorry i dont know where you can get them from, but seriously do not ride it with no water pump seals.

    no water will be circulated and it wont last a mile

    have you checked the whole coolant system to make sure it isnt leaking from somewhere else and then running down to the engine bit?

    but the thing i dont get is that it has a radiator on the side.....
    got a k&n air filter and it has a coolant bottle underneath the seat..
    soo..???

    big hint there SCOOTER, loooooool erm have you ever worked on an engine before? if you have to ask how to do it, then no offence but it might be worth taking it to a garage

    well if it is a gasket replace it. if a component has a hole in it replace it.

    if the cap aint on the header tank then shoot yourself !

    just see whats leaking first then report back to base.

    just make sure it aint leaking from somewhere else and running down.
