    basically...
i need a DT project for our year 13 course.
it has to be related to bodywork design, as it's what i want to do in uni and as a career.
    i've thought of a project:
a speedfight rear mudguard with a built in numberplate holder.
Reasons: no rear mudguard, so the cases get real dirty and need to be cleaned more often.
Also, the current numberplate holder on a speedfight is ugly in my opinion, and needs a redesign.
also, a problem i have faced is when i have used a jack up kit, the engine guard splits in two and a small gap is made between the two, without a rear mudguard and in the wet water flicks through the gap and soaks the spark plug cutting the engine out.

there is currently one rear mudguard i know of at them moment for the speedfight two, and it doesnt have the numberplate holder.

so i think i have the problem sorted...

    ALTHOUGH!

i NEED a client....therefore someone who works on peds for a living....who can tell me the problems they have "heard" from customers about the problems with their peds.

anyone think they can help me out?

any help will be greatly appreciated.

oh one more thing, if anyone has any problems with a speedfight that they think could work as a great project don't hesitate to let me know!

    thanks
    luke

    no no no sorry

im in year 13 at sixth form....and for my DT product design project....im looking into making a rear mudguard for a speedfight which incoprporates a numberplate holder.
which is fine...i can make it no problem.

but...i need a client....i.e a person who has asked me to make it as they feel that there is a need for it.

therefore i'm asking if there are any shop owners or anyone who works for a living with motorcycles....who would like to be my client and give me information on problems with peds bodywork issues.

or if anyone has any other ideas of problems which are there with speedfight body parts then let me know please.

    oooh yea!
    yea thats right

but my project needs to have a client that i can interview etc....i could make it up, but it's better if i have real evidence of a client really.

so is there anyone here in the motorcycle industry and fancies giving me a little bit of sapre time? :D
