hi I'm looking to replace my belt on my gilera 180 2 stroke and was wondering what one to fit shoul I get a malossi Kevlar one or polini pls help I'm looking for the best performance I can get thanks
either a polini or a mallosi kevlar is the way to go Dave buddy. the kevlars are gonna take that raw power a lot moe better than a stock but they do tend to wear a little quicker than norm so you will want to do a check on it every so often so you catch it before it get to far past its minimum wear mark , an 18 wide belt would tend to be replaced at around 17.3 - 17 wide maybe a tad lower into the high 16's
I've read that the belt should be 21mm wide is that correct so I can order a 21 mm polini belt ? Thanks
yes dave if it states it fits the 180 it will be a wider belt, i just used the above measurements as a ie type thing, so a 21 yep
