isnt it just great when you have to push your bike home 3 mile up hill as if it isnt already bad enough walkin with a plate in ma leg, let alone pushin ma bike this is the sorta stuff that make me not wanna bike :banghead: my fuckin luck enit, nothin ever goes right i checked it not long ago and it was fine ffs
Hard times man but thats the game, if you own a bike something like this will happen at some point ! I once pushed a bike over 6 miles home from 12 midnight and I got in about half 6. It had a flat rear tyre and the engine seized. Pushed along the dual carriageway, parking up, resting, almost nodding off.... the SHIT I have done for bikes is unbelivable! By the way you need AA, or recovery. Fuck doing that shit again. If you own a bike, you need it.... I was banned by the AA for using them too much, but thats another story
same thing happened to me, and i was in the middle of no-where aroun d20 miles from home and parents just went on holiday lool, but luckily my mates dad lived around 3 miles away. pushed it there, got it home got it to garage to fit the belt, was on the way home from the garage and looses power, then coolant starts pissing out and lovely jubbly a nice 5 mile walk home! fucking wank isnt it! and i broke down the other day but luckily i broke down about 2 minutes from my mates so just went to his and had a zoot loool, but check your oil pump and waterpump belt as thats probabley fucked...
you think thats bad.. imagine youre standard exhaust snapping in the middle of the MOTORWAY where theres no lights atall.. and having to push the wrong way up the hard shoulder for 2 hours, then getting stopped by traffic police who wanted to seize my bike saying i cant push it any further.. finallly got it home but had to pay a 150 fine and 3 points
just happened to me today aswell :banghead: starter bendix broke took the front pulley out and snapped the belt, got my dasd to come with the van though as i was 20 mile away
yeah they where pricks.. i was about 20 metres from the exit ramp.. and they said i couldnt push my bike up it as it was an entry ramp and i would be going the wrong way on it and its dangerous etc etc.. said my bike would have to be recovered and impounded luckily for me some nice police turned up and let me do it.. still had to go to court though. moral of the story is.. check youre bike before you ride, and dont ride on motorways when youre not allowed lol
how did you check it.looked at it and thought yes thats in one piece haha moral of buying a bike. think last owner was a nob head and didnt know anything about scooters. new drive belt rollers check pulleys new oil pump belt etc buying a bike is expensive as you have to buy these things but its a pain if it goes wrong and you didnt spend the money
no monty.. it was rattling all day lol, but i didnt know where the rattling was coming from and didnt really check it before i hit motorway
Who hasn't had their belt shred lol. Happened to me on way back from Brighton run, considering it was about 70 miles there and 70 miles back it was lucky it snapped 2 miles from home haha. Some say it needed a new belt, some say it just broke for no reason, all I know is, it was a beasty bike
It shredded in seconds on way home from Brighton, was doing about 80 clock speed and when I pulled the throttle it went slower lol. Pulled over and was like fuck. Had to push it home as if a hippo was sat on it with a backpack full of onions.
freshly picked onions or very slightly aging onions? so wat makes these things go isit the heat or what?
he was    damn thing was a mess 1 tip, If you're going out with mates, always keep a length of nylon rope under the seat. My lads been towed back by other 50's loads of times... 2 x broken belts bust water pump flat battery and no kick start fitted engine seized due to failed crank seals on his speedshite :banghead: as long as you're being sensible, the pigs will leave you alone. If its at night, make sure theres someone at the back..slightly to the off side to protect you from passing traffic
