drilling extra clutch air hole in caseing ?

    So ive polished my casing looks sweet. Ive seen a couple of people have drilled extra holes in the caseing looks good but im unsure what does everyone think ?

    when they have loads of holes/cut outs I'll admit it looks good........till it rains or a stone flicks up off our shit roads into your transmission.....

    Wont be going out in rain stays away till the suns out. so i should drill the as look good ?

    My old Aerox was my only form of transport so was used in the rain, never had a promlem with it to be honest.. Sure it got dirty in their but they do normally due to the wearing on the belt... Since the clutch and variator spin they usually drive the rain water away from them how ever I never thought about a stone going in which could cause some bad damage... Unlikely to go in but deffiently not good if it does!!

    could always put some thin mesh behind it to prevent a stone entering after you have drilled it , just a thought fella :)

    As said in other post's about doing this, the transmission cover act's as a wind tunnel, air in the front-out the back, this keeps the variator and clutch cool.
