Any1 have any idea if a spring on a standard rear shock on a italjet dragster 125 can be removed. Basically my mate asked me and i have no idea. His spring has paint flaking off so he wanted to tidy it up a bit. Any help would be great. Cheers

if it does, you'll need a spring compressor to start with...

Theres like a piece at the top of tbe shock where if u pust the spring down it comes out. Managed to do that but basically all it does is gives the spring a extra inch of room. Think it might be a fixed unit as there seems to be no way to get the spring off the shock. Unless any1 knows otherwise. Just seems pretty poinless buying a new shock if it works fine just because the paint is coming off the spring. Surely theres a way.

Some do (usually the expensive ones) most don't.
