DrAgStEr 172 project

rightio i got this dragster 172 on sunday needs a bit of paint and a clean up but ive always wanted one soo here we go



striped it down and here it is putt away next to the storm

preped the panels i had to get a diff one as it was cracked

i havent decided on the coulor yet or if its getting done by a pro or cans
the setup is:
malossi 172 kit
malossi 25mm inlet
25 mm delorto carb
malossi filter
scorpion exhaust
polini belt
180 vari
malossi secondary gear up
a bgm crank is going to be added and porting to the 172 will be done and a few more bits to.
i got the panels back today from the bodyshop pick dont do them justice at all there metalic black whith the tinyest hint of red you can bearely see that tho

I decided to put the panels on to see what it would look like i still need a fair few bits and some chrome doing so dont be harsh.









im also planing to do something simaler to this but not carbon

Where abouts did you buy it from?

Cos there was a black drag round my area with a scorp tryna rob peoples peds :rtfm:

looks good shiney ill deffo have it would you be able to make up a bracket for it to fix to the engine?.
im going to try find a diff shock to fit the front at a breakers
have you had chance to make them bushes and the metal bracket i needed for a engine.
would you be able to do my engine mount soon.

should be done by the end of the week bushes are done,bolts ready got to do the shock adaptor and engine mount (looking for a bit of ali the right size)

yes its a r1 shock i now plan to have one on the ftont and one on the rear but the front required shock mount moveing and welding so i may aswell get the frame painted red as the panels have a red fleck to them so im told lol wee shall see.
and shiney your being great if i was gay i would marry you lol soon as you can get the bits done it would be great but theres no real rush moneys drying up fast lol need to sell some of my bike colection

no you dont dys its a storm and yeah it will be for sale when the front gets resprayed

The storm only comes in 50cc

erm im sure it has runner wheels stock too

not sure what else mate.

 

Storms are sweet, i'd buy one an 172 if i had money to wipe my arse with, so genna av to make do with my road going tractor pulling boat
