Does corner cracked headlights fail mot ??

    I am taking my bike to mot soon and i have a crack in the corner of my headlight quite big.......

    im with dave on this one , ive owned the same bmw for the past five yesrs and all my man says to me is are you going to sell it? i reply...ill drive it till the wheels come off,problem is...you cant do that when your 16..on the plus side you still got ur looks :punk:

    i dno i think they would fail you mate, my scooter failed for having yellow indicators not bloody orange, even though the actual bulbs were made to be indicators, wankers!

    hi,as dave says some will fail it some wont.but if it affects the beam of the bulb(way the light leaves headlight)or is sharp in any way it probably will fail. cheers

    argh no point beacuse then the mot man is going to get picky and start looking everywhere to fail so ill just bid on a couple on ebay .... :D

    any loose glasswork or pannels are deamed a hazard... will fial if the test uis up to scratch.. just replace like a good boy an it wont fall out, cut your tyre an send you into a tree at 70
