Does anyone actually care about post counts?

This is just going on from something I mentioned in a post/reply.
Does anyone actually care about post counts enough to add comments with that intention? If so, cos there'll be a few readin this (trying to spam lol) what are you actually looking for out of having more post counts?
People with 4 posts have helped me in some replies more than people with 700 or whatever. It's what you write that everyone pays attention to. A 40,000 count person who knows loose knowledge is still that and even a newby will know that cos he'll think "wtf is he sayin that for even to me that is a wank reply"

I'm sure admin will agree that they could prob open any account or even their own and stick in any number...what difference would it make.

I'm actually willing to have mine changed to 30 permanently to show the point...the only reason i say 30 is cos I'd need that to ever post in "for sale" or "wanted". If you can give me a pass on those I'd even settle for 0 lol but serious

Yeah I thought that just there, I mean if people look at this n agree then what is the actual need for going over 30? wouldn't it eliminate count spamming at least if not people just registering to spam. Then at least it would be easy to identify a spam jam n boot their arse off.

 

Not sure i really understand your point...but i dont really pay much attention to post counts myself!!

Just I can't understand why someone would spam to boost their count... someone mentioned it in a post n I couldn't understand why someone would so thought I'd see if anyone would actually own up to it or think "why am I doin it"

 

just me talking to you about this pointless topic is probably classed as spam!!

But to be honest people are gonna spam on forums wether theres a post count or not...its just in there nature to be honest

Yeah see your point mate its like Terro he has to have the most post counts out of all of us No reason imo to have them.

It depends like you say people with higher post counts imo i would say they are quite knowledge able and know ther way around a scooter if not thats a post whore.
But you could have someone who is intelligent and doesnt come on much and have a post count of 10.

I was just saying. I said I wouldn't mind it before to kind of illustrate a point, then found it a little funny myself if it were actually pos.

i know that some of my posts are probably spam but i'd like to think the majority are useful information or valid suggestions.

the post count means nothing, look at some post counts of over 1000 and about 5 of those posts are valid, the rest are discussing xbox live. on the other hand there are people with 50 posts, 49 of which are genuine help or questions and the other is an introduction.


it dosn't matter post counts just show how sad someone is or spending so long on the net

Christophe, i think your have a made love for post counts, and your outrageous jealousy of not having the most caused you to create this topic, otherwise why would you have thought about making it.
