Getting a ride fixed nowadays,is a minefield.!., alot of mechanics/frankly are a shower of shite, only out to make a quick buck and no real natural skill set, they've just got into the job / cause their either too thick to do anything else - an they reckon there's money too be made from people who are willing to entrust their vehicle to them,on the promise it'll be fixed, probs.as the result of some b..s.it glossy ad. - But there are some, you may have met..,the warts an all type...could be organised.straight as a dye or full of eccentricities, whose hands would give Midas a run for his money, but sadly seem to be either dissapearing or are getting increasingly hard to find. So,lets have a little glory posted on all these unsung heroes, and start taking away the earning potential from those undeserving shites who should never be allowed anyehere near a vehicle.. .

Anyone know a good backstreet mechanic in London? I went to one motorcycle stores that do servicing and when I told the guy what I wanted done he got confused when I said spark plug and had absolutely no fucking idea what a fuel filter was ....wtf and on top of that he was a rude little shit. I don't trust mechanics that can't or wont do such a basic service while I wait.
One in chatham i went to years back when it was starting from a lock up garage ...barneys bikes...its in a big showroom now but he aint lost his honesty...272 luton road, chatham, kent.not London but its the best shop round this way if your ever round chatham.
I seem to be the local 'Go to' guy when it comes to bikes and some car repairs. I will always give advice, but I don't always take jobs on, as my time outside work is limited and precious.
it seems ive become the local back street mechanic now that im not working, but luckily people understand that it takes me time to get stuff done!
