right, youve seen my other threads about this bike, got this bike on wednesday night, seemed to run ok, clock worked but the tach was dead, would get a sort of a clicking noise when i turned on the ignition and the clock came on,battery is dead so starting off a booster, anyway i took out the battery and kickstarted it and the clocks been dead since, have i fubarred it or can it just be reset some how?

now onto the main problem, taking off it struggles to build up revs and takes off very slow, then i get a boost of speed all of a sudden when it passes the initial slow revs, too much throttle though will make it bog down (and die unless i roll back on the throttle) if i open the throttle it will sometimes go but ill get more revs when i roll back a bit(too rich maybe?) anyway its slow as fuck in this state,(mates stock restricted et2 beating the crap outta me) cant get up some hills either.

everything on the bike is stock that i know of, both pipes on the exhaust gone(stub of one of them left) cleaned carb, checked manifold and reeds and there ok, beyond that im stumped, any of the wise ones able to shed some light on my main problem would be fantastic.
    thanks

split rubber inlets by any chance allowing too much air and bogging your engine. and ye the stock jey should be 53 with the stock airbox. if thta dont work put a new plug. and ye check the transmission: belt and rollers= most common reason worn rollers and belt.

inlet manifold checked, no splits or anything, new sparky in it, belts and rollers unchecked, will get to them tonight or tomorrow, would be nice if those were gone and that was problem solved.
somthing tells me its the jetting though, seems to run better on a cold start (choke on rich looking exhaust smoke) MAYBE

update to this, have her running now, wide open throttle revs lower then just below it so somthing is still wrong there, and then theres the story of the clocks, glad this one is going back on the market straight away

Digital clocks need a 12v solid supply, stick a good battery on and chances are they will work ;)
