Gilera dna 50 is blowing cdi unit. It was running then stopped i tried it for a spark there was none, i tried another cdi unit and it started left it running for about 3 minutes it stopped , tried spark was none, tried another cdi same thing ran for few mins then stopped no spark, anyone know why....
Assuming you haven't done anything non-standard and blown units were known to be good - have to look to the other systems involved, so coil, stator and rectifier would be suspects Also check wiring throughut. I've heard of bad engine earths causing CDI failure so check as it may be using the CDI as a route to earth which would fry it pretty good.
