this is my dna 125 rolling project, not every 1s cup of tea its not a proper scooter and its not a proper sports bike but i like it. got it for £100 as lad thort engine was on its way out, £4.80 for a new rubber damper on the flywheel and engine was quiet, gave it an oil change and fitted an airbox with filter to replace the car breather filter bodged a cheap home made leo vince exhaust on took it for an mot and it went straight thru (now replaced with a new scorpion exhaust) i need to take an up to date pic as it now has a scorpion exhaust and the screen is white. messing around with it i've discovered a malossi belt and malossi cdi and an un known alarm. i've fitted a scorpion exhaust an airbox and malossi free flow filter (to replace the bodged filter that was on) and polini rollers to replace the bodged stuff that was in, every 1 was a different weight.
i was indeed lucky the guy was a proper window licker, i tryed to talk him out of buying it because i seriously thort he would kill himself on it but he insisted he wanted it.
lol??? u got to be kidding right??? hahahaha thats nuts!! trying to persuade someone not to buy it! hahahah xD and there are others that beg for their scoots to be sold xD
exactly what i was thinking. he was brought by 2 lads in a car, and both of them were worried he wasnt going to make it home, he seriously could hardly keep it upright, he kept pulling the front brake on hard, he couldnt grasp the concept of indicators, he didnt check before pulling away and almost went under a car. he had no riding gear at all and was reliying on the helmet i said would go with the scoot he never asked before hand what size it was. i genuinly thort he was going to hurt himself or some 1 else thats why i tryed to talk him out of buying it, i made him promise to text me when he got home he never did, did he get home safe????? i'll never know.
