have a boat trailer kicking around? need to go and pick up a ped? well heres your solution i used this to get my neo home from 40 odd miles away i used a old flat pallet i found on the beach with some support wood to keep it steady and tied the whole thing to the fraim of the boat trailer genus i thought i would share this with you lot as my frends found it too funny. cheers oli
I collected a zip SP from Mablethorpe breakers ...some 90 miles from me... in a Renault clio 3 door Dropped the rear seats and covered the back end with a thick plastic tarp, arrived at sellers, stripped the front forks out and laid it on its side in the back of the car on some old cushions. The front end fitted nicely down the side. The tailgate even closed for the trip home
Lol this brought back the memory of helping my brother get his typhoon into the back of a mk2 fiesta in the very early 00's after it broke down. God knows how but it actually fitted with the bike all in one piece
40 miles.......?!?!? just ride it......... I do 50 miles a day just commuting Neat Idea though looks comical
i would love to have rode home but.. 1.im 15 2.no tax 3.it wasent running at the time turns out cdi was umpluged lol idiot
Fair enough get some miles done on it when your old enough to ride it..... when me an my mate was 16 we went everywhere on ours and clocked up some decent milage while all our other mates stayed on the same boring 4 mile loop they did every night
Depends where you want to go mate thats the fun of it, get a tent etc book a campsite somewhere (don't go too far first time out!!) and ride to it. Make sure your bike is in good working order and is reliable and you have a back up plan like your trailer to get it home if anything happens
