a bore kit i ordered took over 2 weeks to be delivered thought that was pretty bad considering it takes 4 days max for a order form a german site to be on my doorstep still got copy of receipt and the delivery note too
I ordered some Bushes for my old runner, they took my 50 or so quid, that was about 2 years ago, hope i get a knock at the door soon.
once brought a brand new pm 59 OBVIOUSLY and OVIOUSLY was made wrong. basically the part that the end can bolts onto the pipe was not welded in the correct position, so when trying to put the nut onto the end can it hit the bracket, rang them and rather than im very sorry etc i gOT WAS ALLO MATE and you jsut have to shave a bit of the bracket away mate so that the nut shall fit, oh yeahill just fiddle with the double strap that supposidly stops the end can snapping off.
pm i bought a secondhand pm55 (only six months old) it had already been repaired once, within a week it had cracked by the endcan mounting.this was expertly repaired(shiny) ten days later it snapped on the downpipe.I for one will never touch a pm product again.
pm 55 repeatidly snapped that i had luckily i didnt use it sold it. countless mates pm 59s snapped where it rubbs near the doughnut on a runner. including the 59 that had the shagged end can mount, and the list goes on there a joke. i get spoken to by police more politely than pm.
i ordered one of there x tech 70 kits which i later found out was another renamed product, took over a week to arrive. then fitted it as usual(ive fitted many bore kits and all worked perfectly) ran it slowly for a few days then overheated twice and worped the head, re fitted it with the skimmed head then a day later it siezed. and pm's customer service is terrible, you get better service from a back street garage
i rang them up tried to get a few springs from them for a pm59 ? he was on the phone chatting bare waffles to me about he couldnt sell them me even tho connor(wolfey) bought some a few weeks before but ( more like pm couldnt be ass'd for the sale as it was only a few springs) and then then i put the phone down couldn't be ass;d with them. also a mate of mine his pm snapped not long after he got it poor workman ship ftl!
I ordered a pipe off PM's website for my Katana. They had a picture up of a Polini For Race II pipe, it said Polini "power pipe" in the description. They sent me a Polini "Funky" and said it was the "upgrade" as it had the carbon end can. When clearly it is not the upgrade of the For Race II. Talk about deception or what?? Also cracked pics of my PM55 Edit: Their customer service is terrible. I honestly would not recommend them to any one now.
hmmm back in 2001-2003 somtime then i rember a certain sprinter beat theres down santapod and they didnt like that one bit.......but thas another story ordered polini sport-came with half the gasgets missing ordered polini springs- 2 sets instead of 4! still waiting for them to come LOL my mate orded a decent pipe. went round there and he had some shit pm pipe (71 or summet) and when he rang up and complaind they said "soryy cant change it now as youve placed it on the bike! poor kid...... PM WONT make it through this credit crunch, more and more "scooterists" are leavin the auto scene and dont have ANY money let alone anything to give to them robbing wankers
pipes are shit, snapped to many times to count, customer service is shit, especially down the phone. still owe me half an order as it was supposedly out of stock but coming in tomorrow so would get sent then...... and we all know tomorrow never comes.
pm wolfys pics of breakages are in exactly the same places mine broke.does this not suggest a fault with either the manufacturing process or the materials used? or both?
ordered crank and bearing for runner 125 liquid cooled crank arrived a week late and bearings were out of stock (surely they should not accept the order or update there site fastest eniugh so u no its not in stock )wich they wouldnt admit after ringing them 5 times till 3 weeks later. i then waited a further 3 months for a refund after numerouse phone calls asking for a refund
Ordered some plastic covers for my transmission case, didn't tell me they were out of stock at the time, emailed them asking where they were, got back to me about a month later saying they were out of stock, then they arrived about 2 months later. Not the end of the world, but would have got them off ebay if i knew they were out of stock.

I phoned up pm tuning 18 months ago to order a polini cast iron sport 70 kit, some guy with a northern accent answers the phone, he sounds as if im disturbing him (a bit snappy, and disinterested) I tell him that i would like to order above mentioned kit for a Runner 50cc, But having heard about pm tunings reputation, I ask if the kit is actually in stock "I expect so" was pm tunings reply :w00t: Now excuse me for phoning you up and disturbing you buddy.... so i reply "you expect so" and the guy snaps back "yes its in stock" :w00t: I ordered it and it came pretty swiftly, but I promised my self to never order anything from PM again.... And like a lot of people on forums ive spent about £1000+ on scooter bits since....just not with PM PM you have a lot to learn on customer service and treating customers with respect....
