different runner shapes

ive been looking around for a 50 runner and noticed theres 2 different shapes, just wondering what the difference is? cheers

 

2006 onwards is the newer shape.. The older shape is generally more favouriteable, most people prefure the looks and the older runners are easyier to work on. Body kits and aftermarket lights are made especially for the older runners. These bikes are one of the easyiest to steal, they are a joke actually.. Hence why theives LOVE em. I can start an old shape runner 50 without the key within 2 mins with just a flathead screwdriver.

However the new shape runners are better designed, more well made better electronics and they ride abit better. But they are harder to work on as the panels are more complecated to take apart/put together. Harder to pinch aswell.
